September 15 through October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month and we’re honoring the resiliency and determination of LA’s vibrant Hispanic community.
💡Each month we are highlighting one of our programs here at the LA County Public Defender’s Office! This September we are spotlighting our Community Outreach Court (COC) - a pioneering initiative designed to assist individuals experiencing homelessness resolve legal barriers that prevent access to critical services such as housing, employment, and social support. COC brings the court system directly into the community at a safe, familiar, and accessible environment. Stay tuned throughout the month as we share more about how this program is changing lives across LA County.
